In the Department of Gynaecology, we renovated the operating room for gynaecological and other endoscopic procedures.
New ceiling supports need better ergonomic use of space. The latest laparoscopic equipment from the manufacturer Richard Wolf with a large 4K monitor with ultra-high resolution endoscopic image is installed.
In GH Novo mesto, they can now also offer the patient diagnostics using ICG technology, which in surgery enables the removal of protective lymph nodes, control of tissue blood supply, detection of anatomically important structures (e.g. ureter), and above all enables the patient to undergo less invasive interventions, faster recovery and a higher survival rate .
Also the insufflator is the latest technology , which enables laparoscopy with minimal CO2 gas pressure during abdominal surgery. CO2 is heated and humidified at the same time to achieve less postoperative pain and less consumption of analgesics, as well as a clear laparoscopic image without fogging during the procedure.
The equipment for hysteroscopic surgery with PlasmaEdge technology has also been upgraded, which enables safer and less invasive procedures for patients.
